Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 24, 2026
OUR COMMITMENT
The B58 Swap Bible is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
What we've done
- Contrast: all text and background color combinations meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios (verified August 2026).
- Images: all meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text.
- Forms: all form fields are labeled for screen readers; email and newsletter forms announce their purpose.
- Structure: pages use semantic headings, landmarks, and a consistent navigation order.
- Video: the homepage background video is decorative, muted, and hidden from assistive technology.
- Purchases: the full checkout flow can be completed by keyboard alone.
Known limitations
- Our PDF guides are technical documents laid out for print use. They are readable by screen readers in their text layer, but complex tables and record-template layouts may not fully conform to PDF/UA. If you need any guide's content in a different format, email us and we'll provide it.
- Some older blog articles may still contain images without full alternative text; we're remediating them on a rolling basis.
Feedback and enforcement
If you encounter any accessibility barrier on this site, tell us and we'll fix it:
We aim to respond to accessibility reports within 5 business days. Where a fix takes longer, we'll tell you the timeline.
Technical basis
This statement reflects an internal accessibility audit completed August 24, 2026, covering automated WCAG 2.1 AA checks (alternative text, form labeling, heading structure, contrast, link names, keyboard operability) across all storefront pages. We re-audit after major site changes and at least annually.
